ClockShark Mobile App 2024 Settings

Configure the ClockShark Mobile app

Settings

Tap on your initials in the ClockShark Mobile app to access Settings and configure account settings, view time rounding, get support, view privacy and terms and Sync Web and App Data.

NOTE: This article relates to the 2024 version of the ClockShark Mobile app, listed as ClockShark Time Tracking on Google Play and the App Store. When you download the app, ensure you are downloading ClockShark Time Tracking, not the legacy version, which is listed under ClockShark Mobile Time Clock. Time Rounding

Time rounding can be activated by a ClockShark Admin user to report on recorded times. When setting up time rounding, the Admin user can select to round to the nearest five minutes, fifteen minutes or not round at all. Learn more in Using Time Rounding.

To view which time rounding setting has been selected on the ClockShark Mobile app:

  1. From the Home screen tap your initials.
  2. Tap your company name. 
  3. Tap Time Rounding.

Account Settings

Access your account on the ClockShark Mobile app to check which email you’ve signed in with, view GPS Tracking information, the App Version and Sign Out. 

To access account settings:

  1. From the Home screen tap your initials.
  2. Tap My Account.
  3. From your account page you can:
    • Tap GPS Tracking to learn about when your location is recorded. To use time tracking in the ClockShark Mobile app you must provide permission for the app to use your location. Your location is tagged every time you clock in, switch and clock out. It is also tagged periodically while you are on the clock. Your location is never tagged when you are on break or off the clock.     • The App Version can be used to check if you’re on the latest version. This can be useful when contacting ClockShark support.
    • Tap Sign out to log out of the ClockShark Mobile app. 

Help and Support

Access Help & Support to get in touch, submit feedback, access the Help Centre, Request Data or access the ClockShark Web login if you need to close your account. 

To get help with the Clock Shark Mobile app:

  1. From the Home screen tap your initials.
  2. Tap Help & Support.
  3. From the Help & Support page you can:
    • Tap Contact Us to CALL, EMAIL or open a text CHAT with ClockShark support. You can also see when phone and chat support is available. 
    • Tap Submit Feedback, enter an Email and Enter your feedback to send your ideas to the ClockShark product team.
    • Tap Help Centre to access the extensive library of help articles.
    • Tap Request Data to Email Support and get a copy of the data stored in your ClockShark account.
    • Tap Close Account and tap ClockShark Web Login to cancel your account.
