How to Fix Unapproved Time
You may notice some shifts get marked with an error called Unapproved Time and come up as "0 hours" even when employees have clearly worked a full shift. This means that the day was previously approved, and now an employee has tracked time against it. Since you already marked that time period as approved, this locks down the date range and does not allow any more edits, new shifts, new PTO requests, or anything to alter the hours for that week. This is great because you know after approval that everything will stay secure and accurate.

Sometimes plans change though and you do need shifts to count after approval. No problem! In order to fix this, it is a super easy 3 step process:
-
Unapprove the time - you can do this by pressing the Unapprove button or hovering your mouse down near the TOTAL and clicking the "X" that appears
-
Edit the shift > check the "Hide checked alerts" box > and press SAVE

3. Then re-approve the time

That's all there is to it. Now you are back on your way with the correct time and hours and peace of mind knowing that it is in your control.
