Use the best workflow and fix common problems along the way when exporting your time data from ClockShark to ADP Run.
Before you start exporting the data from ClockShark, ensure your ClockShark account is connected with ADP Run (ClockShark integration with ADP Run). To check the settings, you can go to your ClockShark account > ADMIN > Integrations, to make sure the ADP has been connected with your ClockShark already.
Before exporting, check the following:
- Have you made any changes since your last export?
- Did you add new employees in ADP?
- Did you change an employee’s pay rate in ADP?
- Did you add new departments to employees in ADP?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, you need to sync these changes in ClockShark:
- Go to ADMIN > Integrations > Manage ADP.
- Click View & Edit Mappings.
- Click Sync ADP Employees.

This sync process updates ClockShark with the employees’ latest pay rates and assigned departments from ADP, and allows you to connect any new ADP employees or contractors to ClockShark users.
