Sync Your Simpro Schedule into ClockShark

Show your team's Simpro job schedules directly in ClockShark, so field employees always know where to be and what to clock into — without switching between apps.

When you turn on schedule sync, the job schedules you build in Simpro are imported into ClockShark automatically. Your crew sees their upcoming shifts in the ClockShark web scheduler and in the Schedule on the ClockShark mobile app.


Note: The ClockShark and Simpro integration is only available on the ClockShark Pro plan. You'll need the Simpro integration connected before you can turn on schedule sync.

Turn on schedule sync

  1. Log in to ClockShark as an admin.
  2. Go to Integrations and open the Simpro integration settings page.
  3. Select the Sync schedule from Simpro into ClockShark checkbox. Your Simpro schedules will begin appearing in ClockShark on the next sync.

How schedule sync works

  • Simpro is the source of truth. Build and manage your schedules in Simpro Premium, and ClockShark is updated automatically. If you create a schedule in ClockShark, it will not sync with Simpro Premium.
  • Changes sync automatically. When you add, move, reassign, or delete a shift in Simpro Premium, that change is reflected in ClockShark automatically. Most changes appear within about an hour.
  • Only upcoming shifts are synced. Schedule sync brings in current and future shifts, not past history.
  • Employees can clock into their shifts. Imported shifts behave like any other ClockShark shift, so your team can clock in and out against them as usual.

A few things to know

  • Make schedule changes in Simpro, not ClockShark. Because Simpro is the source of truth, any edits you make to an imported shift inside ClockShark will be overwritten the next time schedules sync. If you need to change a shift, change it in Simpro.
  • Jobs and employees need to be synced first. If a Simpro schedule points to a job, cost center, or employee that hasn't been imported into ClockShark yet, that shift is skipped until the mapping exists. Keeping your Simpro jobs and employees synced ensures every shift comes through.
  • Contractors sync too. To include schedules for your Simpro contractors, make sure Import and sync contractors as employees is also turned on in your Simpro settings.

Turn off schedule sync

  1. In ClockShark, go to Integrations and open the Simpro integration settings page.
  2. Uncheck the Sync schedule from Simpro into ClockShark checkbox.
  3. In the Stop Syncing Schedules window that appears, select Stop Syncing to confirm.

Shifts that have already been imported will stay on the schedule, but they'll no longer update, and new changes from Simpro won't come in until you turn schedule sync back on.
