Hi there, the mobile app currently supports offline use for employees clocking in and out, then the times will sync when a connection returns. Some of the more advanced features do require an internet connection to function, but employees should be able to clock in and out from jobsites with no cell service with no issues! Let me know if that helps.

This is a really great suggestion! Currently, ClockShark updates an employee’s location at 15 minute intervals. This is a conservative interval that ensures that employee cell batteries aren’t taxed by using their GPS.
Thanks for explaining why a different interval would be so helpful to your company. As your idea catches steam here on our voting page, we’ll look into adding that to ClockShark. :)
Lunch Reminders are a hot suggestion right now, so we will look into adding those in a future update. Please continue to vote for the employee notification you’d like to see, and include any details below in the comments section.Anonymous commented
Missing punch in / sign in: Employers need faster notifications! If an employee fails to sign in after 30 minutes for example, it will send an email to the employer. Currently it is only set to 4 hours, which is way too long. Please allow a slider (or some sort of configuration) where the grace period to sign in can be configurable. My company needs to know preferably after 30 minutes if an employee fails to sign in so we can investigate further, and quite possibly dispatch another employee.
Thank you for sharing your idea, and allowing folks to have a forum to support and vote for it. We prioritize all suggestions with the most traction and support.
Great suggestions spread like wildfire. With enthusiastic support, this idea will become one of our upcoming feature releases, so please keep voting. :)
Thanks for sharing your support for this idea here! As support continues to mount for this idea, our development team will plan how to bring this to you in ClockShark. :)
Reading this idea, and all the comments below, I can see that the consensus is that administrators would like a way to designate an Off/Holiday/PTO day, without having to insert any time for an employee. Currently, in ClockShark there is an available workaround that’s equivalent to the feature being requested.
If you’d like to see how to designate that an employee will be taking (or took) a day off, Morgan from our Customer Success team explains how to do that here: https://soapbox.wistia.com/videos/SkNhqgi9Kc
Feel free to let me know if this video is helpful, or if you have any other suggestions/ideas regarding how we can improve ClockShark for you. I love hearing your ideas.Anonymous commented
My company also needs this. Need functionality to add vacation and sick days. Very weird not to have these options since vacation and sick days are pretty common in today's workplaces.
