This would really help. Some admins add jobs in the field before they are added on desktop. Many times, you will have errors in an address, customer spelling errors, and the occasional job number mistake. Allowing the desktop admin to merge the job saves a lot of time instead of having to edit each individual time-sheet.
Why not just have them just clock out when they have an errand? Or, just have them use the lunch button? This way you know exactly when they left and when they returned.
Thanks for this great idea. We’ll consider ways to mark jobs as completed for a future update. If anyone has further ideas on how to make this feature awesome, please comment.
Using presets to speed up the time entry on schedules and when adding time to a time sheet is an idea we are considering. If you need this feature, please viote with your support. We’d love to build all of these features now but are limited to doing the ones with the most votes first since each feature takes a good amount of time and resources to build.
Update: We are working to optimize the admin screens for a good mobile experience through mobile web browsers. This improved mobile administration experience should be available soon!
Update as of 1/18/16 – The Who’s Working Now Screen is currently optimized for mobile viewing, so you can easily see the location of (and who’s clocked in currently) from your smartphone or tablet. To do so, you’d just login to the website as an administrator using the web browser on the mobile device.
We are still working to release mobile-optimized screens to make the rest of the admin experience easily available to you on mobile. Stay tuned!
