Thanks for the suggestion! On the mobile app, employees can press the phone number (if it’s included in the job description) and it will dial.

We’ll go ahead and mark this as completed, but please let us know if you have any other questions about that feature. Our customer service team can be reached at 1.800.828.0689.

Yeah, being able to at least copy and paste text from this field would make things much easier. Currently, on our mobile phones, we can't even copy a phone number or address from the notes field. We have to manually type this information into another field on our phones which is a waste of time and increases the chance of error. Plus it's just annoying to go back and forth from the clockshark screen to the other app screen that we are trying to copy the information over to.

This is a really great request, and it’s one many folks have begun to bring up. Please keep voting your support for this idea, and we’ll consider adding it in a future update.

If you have any other questions or suggestions, please let me know. I love to hear them.

I have a similar issue. When an employee has to drive over an hour to a specific job, I give them a gas stipend for that day. I wish there was a generic "reimbursements" or "expenses" field in clockshark that could be used for many different things. This way, we will know any additional amounts we owe each employee in addition to their hours worked.

I don't know how this would sink with quickbooks, but it would be helpful to at least have the option in clockshark so we can track these additional expenses with the employee for the week.

Using presets to speed up the time entry on schedules and when adding time to a time sheet is an idea we are considering. If you need this feature, please viote with your support. We’d love to build all of these features now but are limited to doing the ones with the most votes first since each feature takes a good amount of time and resources to build.

Great idea, Also would like to be able to select which employees alerts are sent for. I don't need to get alerts for admins (including myself). Sometimes I start late or leave early and I don't need to get alerts send about myself. It's too many unnecessary emails. Let us choose what employees alerts are sent for.

Hi, thanks for this idea. You can actually inactivate completed jobs currently from the Jobs screen. If you’re connected to QuickBooks, this will also inactivate the Job in QuickBooks. Or vice versa, inactivating the Job in QuickBooks will inactivate it in ClockShark. Not sure if that is what you were looking for?

Hey Joe, which version of QB's are you talking about? I'm using QBO and wondering if your comment works the same with QBO. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing your support for this idea here! As support continues to mount for this idea, our development team will plan how to bring this to you in ClockShark. :)

Reading this idea, and all the comments below, I can see that the consensus is that administrators would like a way to designate an Off/Holiday/PTO day, without having to insert any time for an employee. Currently, in ClockShark there is an available workaround that’s equivalent to the feature being requested.

If you’d like to see how to designate that an employee will be taking (or took) a day off, Morgan from our Customer Success team explains how to do that here: https://soapbox.wistia.com/videos/SkNhqgi9Kc

Feel free to let me know if this video is helpful, or if you have any other suggestions/ideas regarding how we can improve ClockShark for you. I love hearing your ideas.

Yeah, I'd like the option to create custom tag options (ex. Vacation, Sick, Personal, Bad Weather, No Show, or OFF) to the schedule for my employees to see and for our own records as well. Also, wether the day is a PAID day off or UNPAID day off. I tried to set something like this up as a job, but then it allowed certain employees to clock in and it's just too confusing that way. We need another option for this.
