Geo fences to allow users to clock time only when they are at a jobsite. Once they enter the fenced area they can clock in and if they leave they are clocked out, etc. Or, you'd see alerts on the time sheet when the punches are outside the geofence.163 votes

We’re happy to announce that a preview of the new file attachments feature is now available. From the mobile app, employees can now attach photos (or any other document) to their time sheet and you’ll be able to see it alongside their timesheet. Need a option during ADMIN set up that allows employees to choose a default setting for their lunch break time (1hr or 1/2 hr) that way work day hours subtract lunch break76 votes

Allow a user to see what notes they have entered on previous days time entries. Currently if I enter a note on Mondays time log, I can't go back on Wednesday and see what notes I entered.33 votes

Update—We recently released an update to the time sheets view in the mobile app, which allows employees to review time sheets from previous weeks as well as see totals of overtime and straight time hours for the week. That update paved the way for the next round of planned updates to the mobile app, which will include the ability to see previously entered notes and edit them or add notes retroactively to a previously worked segment of time.

Need the ability to make a Task exempt from overtime calculations. For example, hours recorded to Travel do not count in overtime calculations.
Also need ability to set the entire weekend as overtime, so Saturday and Sunday are always overtime hours.30 votes

Good news! This feature is now released and called GPSTrak Background Locations. The Android mobile app update that makes the feature work is now released on the Google Play Store, however we are waiting for Apple to release the iOS version. We expect that the iOS version will be released in the next week. In the meantime you can start getting your Android users on board. They’ll need to update their mobile app, and you’ll also need to enable the feature for them in your Employees Screen in the website.
For full disclosure, this is not a 100% real time tracking feature, but it does provide updates on location 3-4 times per hour while the employee is clocked in. That was done (as opposed to continuous tracking) to keep battery drain and data usage to a minimum, while still providing an assurance of where employees are during their shift.
Allowing pictures of what was done in the time employees were one a job site. ie before and after. It allows not only us knowing they were on the job site but also keep a eye on whats done and whats not.30 votes
Employees should be able to enter a manual timesheet in the mobile app in case they miss punching in or out, etc. This timesheet would be flagged in the admin interface so it is clear when reviewing timesheets that it was entered manually instead of captured by the time clock in real-time.
This feature could be toggled on or off by the administrator since not all companies may want employees to be able to enter a manual timesheet.29 votes

Sometimes I need to add a message for the employee on the schedule. It would be nice to have it notify the employee of the change so they can immediately get it. Not when they think about looking at their schedule.26 votes
This feature is completed! There is now a “notify employees” button on the scheduler in the website.
Current "My Recent Activity" only lets a user see the time/date of their last 9 clock-in events. For example, Clock-In counts as 1, Out for Lunch as 2, back from Lunch as 3, out at end of day as 4, etc.. You can really only see the latest 2 days clock-in and out times. It would be nice for us to see the back history a little further for those of us that maintain paper timesheets in addition to Clock Shark.19 votes
The latest versions of the ClockShark mobile app now include a more powerful time sheet view that allows employees to view their time sheets for the current week and previous periods. The view also shows them their regular time hours, overtime hours and (if enabled in Company Settings) doubletime hours for the current and previous periods. The time sheet they see is pulled from the system, so any changes you make to the time sheet as an administrator will be reflected on what the employee sees in the app.
It would be nice to have a view in the schedule calendar where you can see the whole month, rather than a week at a time.19 votes

The Who’s Working Now Screen is currently optimized for mobile viewing, so you can easily see the location of (and who’s clocked in currently) from your smartphone or tablet. To do so, you’d just login to the website as an administrator using the web browser on the mobile device.

Our employees make a lot of notes on their time card and aren't able to see them. We make notes every time we edit an employee's time and they aren't able to see that either. Would like them to see notes at a minimum on a desktop, but since they are on the road all of the time, seeing notes on a mobile device as well would be excellent.16 votes
Has this been discussed? My company re-uses task (phase) numbers on different jobs with new names. Also task list will get very long if we don't have the ability to filter the task list based on the job selected.12 votes
